I know all those …
I know all those effects except for the last one. How in the world did you make all those windows randomly fly around? BTW, which game is that?
@RandomXUsr …
So if you think I’m using Arch so I dont have to think… then lol.
@RandomXUsr Actually I was combating the idea that Linux is hard to use… If you think I dont push my computer all the time and use CLI and all that, you dont know me very well
I use CLI all the time, but I choose to do so. And btw, Fedora is much more geared for general use than Arch is.

“I use Arch Linux as my regular computer and don’t have to take any real thought in my day to day ether.”
So what you’re really saying is that and OS should be designed for mindless folks that are afraid of learning new things?
No offence intended.
BTW, Fedora User here, and I don’t often need to head to the command line in terms of general use. That said, every OS takes some ability to comprehend how the OS works To varying degrees.

Yep, I use VMware …
Yep, I use VMware and run one virtual machine full-screen on three cube surfaces, one each for OS X, Win 7, and Win XP or Linux Terminal full-screened. You’d think this would cause slow down, but I don’t really notice any. Another alternative is Virtualbox, haven’t used it but some people I know use it and it works well.
Intel Core 2 Duo 2.3 GHz, 4G Ram, Dell Inspiron.
How do you do that? …
How do you do that? Just run several VMs and fullscreen them inside each desktop?
While I’m not …
While I’m not really disagreeing with you, I just want to question the thought usage value of Linux.
A easy to use distro also takes just as little thought to use as any Windows OS in my opinion. I know its not perfect and there is always certain little things that can cause headaches with any OS, including Windows.
I use Arch Linux as my regular computer and don’t have to take any real thought in my day to day ether.

Definitely.
I am a …
Definitely.
I am a programmer myself and I love working in the Linux/Unix environment. Compiz seems to enhance this. Sometimes eyecandy can also help keep things interesting while you’re working hard on something.
But the cube is very nice for productive work in my opinion. Its definitely not really needed, but anything helpful is nice.

Can also run videos …
Can also run videos as your desktop wallpaper.
I use it for very …
I use it for very different reasons, but those effects certainly are a big plus. Got them running on a machine with a mere 256 MB of RAM. Linux is FAST.
While a lot of this …
While a lot of this is just eye candy, careful tuning can increase productivity. For example, you can run Ubuntu with Windows XP, Windows 7, and OS X all running simultaneously on different cube faces as virtual machines. Makes it easy to hop around and test how webpages behave fin different browsers/OS’s. It turns my laptop into a multi-monitor development platform.
pople use linux …
pople use linux because of effects that windows don t have…im the one xD
