I just love the way the Mac makes sense in its uses. I did not have to read 51 million instructions, and put several different pieces together before it was in operation form. I opened the box, turned it on, and it worked. I love the fact that the Mac retail stores have training classes — which makes me special, to enhance my overall uses of my Mac. I also love the fact that it is a clean looking unit. The white color with its slim design works just as well as its practical function. It is just a hot machine and I love it.
Pro : Its simple format makes it easy to uses.
Con : You just cannot buy one Mac product. Each product you purchase leads you to buy something else: so be careful.
Wow, it is all about the gorgeous display and the speedy Core 2 Duo. Start up time less than 20 seconds! Everything just works. Could use copies of iWork installed. Very quiet though. Front Row looks great. Very speedy wi-Fi performance. My kids favorite feature: Photo Booth.

I currently own one of the iMacs but I'm purchasing one soon. They are amazing, they are so thin and, well, pretty. The display is nice and bright, it takes up about half the space space of a Dell machine. Once again, Apple amazes me!

This right here is one of the best computers on the market. It can appeal to anybody, it has everything you'll ever need. The RAM goes up to 3gigs and up to a 500gb HDD, what else can you ask for? The 24" makes for a beautiful experience every time you sit down at your computer, and like another reviewer said, it just works. You don't have to go through 30 minutes of registration and forms when you flip on your iMac. You fill out who you are, and you're golden. If you can afford it, go for it; you won't regret buying a new mac.

There has never been a better opportunity to switch to a Mac than now. I needed a computer during the time that all PCs were pulled in stores for the Vista upgrade. Well, not only did the PC world loose a sale, they lost a customer to Apple. I love my Apple especially with the ability to run MS Office. Awesome styling and perfect for my small home office. Awesome interface and I also upgraded to complete wireless!!! I cannot believe how QUIET this baby runs. The best is the iLife software. We just had a new baby and the Mac contains incredibly easy programs to make professional looking slide shows, movies, website etc. All my family is across the country, but with my Mac, they feel just next door. It didn't take much to sell my wife on the 24" screen when she saw our new baby's face all over it!!! Guys….go for the BIG ONE!!!

this computer has everything u need. get it. u dont have to get a 24inch u can get a 17 or a 20 inch also!!!!!!!!! If ur a gamer, dont worry most of the games that everyone loves are compatible. MAC RUUUUUUUUULLLLLLLLLEEEEEESSSS!!!

I started out using Mac's then went to PC's and never looked back until recently. I still have multiple PC laptops, but my main home desktop is an iMac which I just love. It is fast, amazing design, easy to use, everything is integrated, stable OS, and the media features are superior. If you have the coin (and believe me it will cost you) I would recommend getting the best processor and video card and the biggest screen size you can afford. The other options (hard drive and RAM) can be upgraded later. While I will never give up my PC's entirely, I will likely never go back to a PC for my main home computer.

i love my 24 inch imac, it can do just about anything, even run microsoft xp if you want to. it is powerful enough for big projects, yet it is very elligant and beautiful at the same time.

This desktop is great. I used to have 2 Windows computers that both died because of viruses so I decided to go Mac because, of course, Macs don't get viruses. This is from a non tech savvy person and this computer is great. I have had no problems with it whereas my Dell always had problems. The graphics on it are great, all the programs are very easy to use, and the Customer Service is great!! Did I forget to include how easy the Help sections are that come with each program and how helpful the Apple website is!! This is an all around great desktop. It is great if you have young kids that like to bang on your keyboard because, unlike a Windows computer, it does nothing but open and close the tabs you have open. If you don't have anything open it does absolutely nothing. My son used to do that to my Dell and it would freeze up and sometimes shut down. This computer does nothing. It is basically unphased. I love it!! Super fast internet, everything.

Macintosh has once again impressed millions with its beautiful 2006 IMAC…it is an extremely beautiful computer with even better software and features…much better than windows vista…which is an ripoff of the mac software……..this computer is worth the price……I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT…..
