How do I connect my macbook pro and my desktop pc to one monitor?
I have one PC monitor which is currently connected to a desktop pc. Is there an adapter or something that I can connect my macbook dock to so that when I dock my macbook, I can use the PC monitor with it instead of the desktop pc?
Hi there…you need a monitor switch to be able to use both the Mac and PC with one monitor.

You’ll want a monitor switch.
What might be more useful is a KVM switch (Keyboard, Video, Mouse), so you can use the same keyboard and mouse, too.
Make sure that you get a USB one, though. Macs don’t use PS/2.
