the i7 is much faster for gaming  and yes i have both  a phenom II 810 in my media center... works fine no problem but it just doesn&#039;t pull as many FPS as my OC&#039;d core 2 quad 8300 in my gaming pc  and yes i took both to maximum stable (24hrs prime 95)</description>
