I need a new laptop but mini laptops are the only ones that I can pay for.

Whats the difference???

Mini laptops are smaller, have limited memory, limited RAM and overall a toned-down version of a basic laptop.

I have the complete addition of the sims 2 and all the expansion packs. Are dells laptops good to play a video game on? IF so what kind should I get and what features do I need. Keep in mind I want to stay under 700 dollars. It will also be used for school since I go to school online.

I got my first laptop when I was 18 as a high school graduation gift. That was about 6 and a half years ago and most of my friends at that point were in the same situation but it’s amazing how much things change in 6 and a half years. With work loads becoming heavier and heavier in high school I can see getting a 16 or 17 year old their own computer (whether it’s a laptop or a desktop should be their choice pending on if they can pay for at least half of it) even a 15 year old I can see needing a computer of their own. BUT any younger than that a family used computer should be just fine. Like cell phones, computers are NOT toys they are tools and should be used as such.

Hi I need help.

There are 2 laptops I want to connect to the internet.

I have a Linksys Broadband Router and would like to connect them with the internet cords.

Neither laptop connects to the internet when I do this. What do I do?

Im assuming you are talking about connecting both laptops by cable , not connecting them wirelessly, as you said "connect them with the internet CORDS". If you are talking about connecting via cable you will need a ethernet cable (sometimes known as RJ45), plug one end into laptop and other into router. still no internet?? Did you have internet working on this router before hand??? If your internet is ADSl (telephone based) make sure you have broadband filters on all telephones. Check your service provider, if ADSl you get problems with telephone companies upgrading/fixing lines, you will get a shortage.

I want a laptops which has minimum 2 GB ram and not more than 13 inch screen . And my budget is Rs. 30000. It should have good sound quality and picture quality , also a good battery back up.

I have no idea what Rs. 30000 translates to in US dollars, but I just got a Sony Vaio and it is REALLY SWEET!!!! You might be interested in the Y series. They run about 800 US dollars, come standard with 4gb of RAM, have a 13 inch screen, come with Windows 7 (which I love) and I got and my NW series has great screen and sound quality. I imagine the Y series would be similar. Happy shopping!

For a 15 inch screen, WXGA 720p is the best. Dont be crazy and buy a laptop with 1080p display. Its a waste of money

Yes Macbook pro is the best laptops than most other laptops in market today. Because Apple is a brand name and have the best quality laptops.

There are 2 ways.

You can get a wireless router and connect them both to the router.
You can also make one laptop make an ad-hoc network and the other laptop can join it. This will be cheaper but with less range.
