This is an unboxing and first impressions video of the Dell Adamo laptop. This is the “Admire” model ($1999 CAD/$1499 USD as of Sept 2009), which features a 1.2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor (SU9300), 2 GB RAM, 128 GB SSD drive, Windows Vista 64-bit, a 13.4 inch 16:9 aspect ratio 1366 x 768, a 1.3 megapixel webcam, Bluetooth 2.0, a back-lit keyboard, two USB ports, one USB/eSATA combo port, gigabit Ethernet, Display Port out (it comes with an adaptor for Display Port to DVI), 802.11n WiFi, built-in speakers, and a 40-watt hour battery. It has no optical drive, nor any memory card slot. This is the Onyx version – it also comes in Pearl (white).

How can I stop my two laptops interfering with each other on the wireless network?

I have two laptops running on my wireless network. However, my E systems latop keeps dropping its connection whenever the HP Pavillion is connected. Is there any way I can stop this? Both laptops use Vista.

WOW…yet another VISTA problem I guess.
make sure that your router is set up for more than just 2 computers…the default is 50. i have mine set to 4 because I use 3 computers in my house. make sure the router is WEP protected as well and that each computer HAS the 10 digit key to log onto the router. Also, set it up to where you can HIDE your SSID broadcast.
Take a look at those things.

It uses animation footage from the Elephants Dream creative commons movie project.

What are some laptops with a long battery life?

I’m thinking about getting an HP Elitebook with 24 hours of battery. Is there any other cool looking laptops with a battery life over 10 hours with a disk reader?

when it comes to laptops and ESPECIALLY LAPTOPS you should NOT be concerned about how it looks at all. the first thing that should come to mind is the Specs. ive seen friends get so excited about how theyre laptop looks and then a year later they need to buy a new one. thats what HP and Dell try to do. make everyone think theyre laptops are the best because they look cool or you can customize the look of the cover. here is a good laptop that will look pretty cool anyways and have alot of battery life there is 17 inch and 14 inch if your looking for small or big laptops. never mind im sorry i looks like dell discontinued theyre inpiron series i cant fint it/ but if you happen to see it in a store its called the inspiron 15. i think with a 9 Cell battery it can last up to 9.3 hours.

you need to have your laptop hooked up to the internet wirelessly. Once done, plug in the cable and connect each other. You will have to keep this connection since your desktop does not have a wireless card.If you get one, then you need to go to your list of network connections and connect to the one you want. I need to connect my desktop to my laptop and use my laptops wireless to connect to router.. router is in another room and my ethernet cord won’t reach. Is there a program to do it? Please give me in depth answer.
