I just need to transfer all my files on my laptop to my desktop pc to back it up. Is there any cord I can use to connect the two and send a folder from my laptop hard drive to my pc hard drive?

Get a Network cable with ethernet jack on the both the ends and make both computer as P2P connection then transfer and u can transfer the documents to the Desktop PC since i had done this job before many times and it work perfectly

We have a P4 pentium computer in our small firm. We want to use this desktop PC as server and naturally this PC will stay open 24 hours. Is it harmful for the PC to stay 24 hours? for example if I dont shutdown this computer for 2 months, is it harmful for the processor? or any other hardware?

there are also server computers. what is difference between a server computer and a desktop computer? server computers have a better cooling hardware?

I got a simple 1.81gz amd sempron and it never goes off I leave it on downloading. I got cable. And it does not hurt it.

I’ve gone into Control Panel on the desktop PC and I’ve clicked "Share Printer" and it’s not working. I try to add a printer in System Preferences in my Mac and I can see the available printer but it says my Canon is "unsupported printer"

Gosh! Have you tried looking up Mac drivers for your printer on the Canon homepage?

I have one PC monitor which is currently connected to a desktop pc. Is there an adapter or something that I can connect my macbook dock to so that when I dock my macbook, I can use the PC monitor with it instead of the desktop pc?

I have a HP Pavilion a6703w Desktop PC, just wondering if anyone knows a good, cheap power supply I can put in it. The 250w one it came with isn’t getting the job done.

Wow I was able to get it all in the header line, but in case you didn’t understand I have a desktop pc with dialup internet service (aol) and a wii console of course. So what do I need if I want to have internet on the wii system. Hopefully not have to change my type of service or buy to expensive of devices.

u dont have to buy anything unless u dont have a connection ( router for your comuter) or u can just scan ure house for a signal using a psp and if u find one then upload the info to your wii settings and u have wifi for free lol basicly just steal your neibor’s
