PostHeaderIcon Acquirgy?s POV on How Major Google Change May Affect Marketers

Acquirgy’s POV on How Major Google Change May Affect Marketers

Lots of questions about the RHS change.

St. Petersburg, FL (PRWEB) November 17, 2011

Marketers are wondering how Google’s recently announced (11/2/11) change is going to impact their paid search programs. Unlike tweaks that have no major impact, the announcements by Google could have a significant impact on SEM programs. Acquirgy’s search team has been studying this change.

Currently, when paid search ads are triggered they show above and on the right hand side of the organic results. This new change, which expects to be completed by the end of November, will show advertisements above the organic results and then either the RHS (right hand side) or below the organic searches.

The Genesis

Google expressed that they “dynamically optimize each search page, including its ads, to provide the best experience for our users. In certain cases, displaying ads below search results fits better into the user’s flow as they scan the page from top to bottom. This change is in line with our key design principles of focus – presenting information to users when they need it most — and elasticity — allowing flexibility in layout depending on the user’s needs and environment.” It is still unknown which type of queries will trigger the different types of ad placements, but once those changes take place, optimizations shall follow.

What prompted Google to change how their ads were displayed? In 2009, Google was experimenting with eyescan software. This allowed Google to track an individual’s tendencies and movement throughout Google’s landscape. One can only suspect that from the data collected in those trials warranted the change in Google’s ad placements.

Potential Effects

Once the new placements are rolled advertisers you can expect ads to be shown “below the fold,” meaning viewers would need to scroll down on the screen, in order to find those advertisements at the bottom of the organic results. If an individual triggers an ad “below the fold” and he/she does not scroll down an impression is still recorded, when normally it would be shown on the right hand side (RHS) of the results page.

There are currently times when ads are below the fold and generate an impression without the searcher seeing it, which evidently hurts the CTR. In Google’s new rollout this can happen much more frequently due to no ads showing on the RHS of the screen. This has people thinking the change could potentially decrease the advertiser’s CTR.

There was an initial thought that all RHS ads would disappear making people think that Google will make people bid top dollar prices for showing in top position. There may be “inexperienced marketers running to their computers and bumping up bids because they think consumers will not be searching at the bottom of Google’s search results page,” said Steven Regan of acquirgy after Google’s announcement. If this happens, advertisers could potentially see an increase in CPCs for the top three positions.”

Google has expressed to marketers that the change in ad placements can be different from one query to another. When Google was asked, “Do bottom ads get a higher or lower CTR than RHS ads” they responded with the following. “Bottom ads have been seen to perform comparably to RHS ads in experiments. However, individual ad performance may vary.”

Acquirgy’s POV

We are notifying our clients and recommending a wait-and-see approach before making any drastic changes. “No actions have taken place just yet,” said Dorothy Weaver. She continued, “We plan to adjust accordingly once the transition is complete. If you act prematurely and raise bids you can potentially be paying more money than what is needed to show in the proper position. We understand that Google’s changes are always made with the best interest of the searcher in mind.”

Throughout the brief history of SEM, there have been numerous changes by Google and other engines, the merger of Bing and Yahoo, and a constantly evolving search landscape. Now is the time to develop strategies based on what happens to your search results on Google for your ads that have been appearing on the RHS that are moved to the bottom:

    Metrics remain the same
    They improve
    They decline

Clearly the case to be concerned about is the last one. Since this change is less than 3 days old (at the time this story was written), thinking about a strategy should results decline makes sense, but waiting to implement it until you determine that the results are unfavorable.

Big Data Just Got Smaller: ai-one Announces New Approach to Find Information

ai-Fingerprint of a news article

San Diego, CA (PRWEB) November 16, 2011

Artificial intelligence vendor ai-one inc. will unveil a new approach to graphically represent knowledge at the SuperData Summit in San Diego on Wednesday. The discovery, named ai-Fingerprint, is a significant breakthrough because it allows computers to understand the meaning of language much like a person. Unlike other technologies, ai-Fingerprints compresses knowledge in way that can work on any kind of device, in any language and shows how clusters of information relate to each other. This enables almost any developer to use off-the-shelf and open-source tools to build systems like Apple’s SIRI and IBM Watson.

Ondrej Florian, ai-one’s VP of Core Technology invented ai-Fingerprints as a way to find information by comparing the differences, similarities and intersections of information on multiple websites. The approach is dynamic so that the ai-Fingerprint transforms as the source information changes. For example, the shape for a Twitter feed adapts with the conversation. This enables someone to see new information evolve and immediately understand its significance.

“The big idea is that we use artificial intelligence to identify clusters and show how each cluster relates to another,” said Florian. “Our approach enables computers to compare ai-Fingerprints across many documents to find hidden patterns and interesting relationships.”

The ai-Fingerprint is the collection of all the keywords and their associations identified by ai-one’s Topic-Mapper tool. Each keyword and its associations is a coordinate – much like what you would find on a map. The combination of these keywords and associations forms a graph that encapsulates the entire meaning of the document.

The real-world applications are impressive. “It solves a lot of so-called Big Data problems because the system learns by itself,” said Olin Hyde who worked with Florian on the project. “ai-Fingerprints work with existing computer languages and standards. So it only took us about a week to create a generic tool, called BrainBrowser, to find relationships in complex texts – such as summarizing news articles, searching for a job, or identifying new uses for a drug.”

To build BrainBrowser, the team fed ai-Fingerprint results from Topic-Mapper into a natural language processing tool, OpenNLP, so that the computer could understand the rules of grammar then tag parts of speech, chunk phrases and classify words into categories (also called named-entity recognition). The ai-Fingerprint is continuously updated by Topic-Mapper so that the computer can understand how information changes over time – as it does in a human conversation.

Next, the team built a little tool in Java that converted the output into a continuous data feed using an open-standard format called XGMML. This format shares the knowledge of a document as a network of words, sentences and relationships.

Finally, they visualized the result with an open-source bioinformatics tool, called Cytoscape, to show the differences, similarities and identify anomalous information among documents. The result is a graphic representation of knowledge that can show clusters, extract summaries and compare many documents at the same time.

The approach is easy for others to replicate with other technologies. “We used Topic-Mapper with Java, OpenNLP and Cytoscape,” said Florian, “But you could easily do this with Python, MATLAB and NLTK. Heck, you could throw a voice recognition tool on it, like Dragon or Nuance, and you can build an intelligent agent just like SIRI.”

ai-Fingerprint works in any language because Topic-Mapper looks only at byte-patterns. “The approach can give false positives if you don’t teach it the rules of language” warned Florian, “but it is very accurate once it learns the grammar from an outside source of information – such as a natural language processing system or an external database.”

ai-one’s engineering team sees ai-Fingerprints as a way to make it easier, faster and less expensive for their partners to develop intelligent systems. The team is now testing it for applications in advertising, financial analysis, medical research and search engine optimization (SEO).

“Our mission is to make powerful AI available to all developers. This is a big step in that direction,” said ai-one’s chief operating officer Tom Marsh. “We are eager to find academic and consulting partners who can build upon what we started.”

“BrainBrowser is just a minimally viable product (MVP) to prove the concept,” added Hyde. “The sky is the limit for those that want to build commercial applications. Just take the MVP code and customize to your needs.”

A demo of the system can be seen on http://www.ai-one.com and the semsys YouTube channel. ai-one intends to provide the source code for ai-Fingerprint as part of its Topic-Mapper software development kit.

PostHeaderIcon Plastic Surgery Consultation Checklist Helps Patients Make the Right Choice when Choosing their Surgeon

Plastic Surgery Consultation Checklist Helps Patients Make the Right Choice when Choosing their Surgeon

Paramus, NJ (PRWEB) November 15, 2011

Choosing the right New Jersey plastic surgeon is the most important factor in the success of your cosmetic plastic surgery, according to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS). To help patients make this critical decision about choosing a plastic surgeon, New Jersey residents can now use the comprehensive Consultation Checklist, developed by the Parker Center for Plastic Surgery.

When selecting a plastic surgeon, New Jersey patients are told to get referrals from friends or family members who have had cosmetic surgery, their physician, and by researching online. Some argue it is best to select a surgeon who is a member of the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (ASAPS). This prestigious society requires its members to be board certified plastic surgeons with significant experience in cosmetic surgery and operate in fully certified surgical facilities. Their members can be found at surgery.org.

Once the patient has compiled a tentative list of surgeons, they can further their investigation. Before visiting the plastic surgeon’s office for a consultation, a patient should first visit their website. By viewing the surgeon’s website the patient will learn about their education, training, experience and philosophy. Many surgeons have designed their websites to be user friendly educational tools which provide a glimpse into their practice before scheduling an in office consultation. It is critically important for patients to look at the surgeon’s before and after photos on the site. Photographs are one of the most important ways of evaluating a plastic surgeon’s results. Patients should be sure:

·     To see more than one or two examples of the procedure they are considering.

·     The results look natural and not “over operated.”

·     The pictures are the surgeon’s own patients.

Once a patient has narrowed the search to 3-5 surgeons, it is recommended that they should make appointments for consultations. During these visits, patients should evaluate the competence of the surgeon and the team. Patients will meet with the surgeon to hear their recommendations and to evaluate the office for cleanliness, staff organization and dynamics. In some offices, patients can undergo computer imaging to give them an idea about how their results should look . Other offices will perform a sizing session on patients seeking breast augmentation to help customize implant size for them.

Dr. Paul M. Parker of the Parker Center for Plastic Surgery in Paramus, NJ became aware that visiting all of these offices could be overwhelming for patients. Though the patients gain more information through these visits, they often hear different options from the surgeons and their staffs. Dr. Parker and his team believe that patients may need some assistance in making their critical evaluations of these cosmetic surgeons in NJ.

“We were looking to create a tool that would allow patients to evaluate plastic surgeons in NJ easily and concisely. This led to our development of a Consultation Checklist,” said Dr. Parker.

This checklist divides the most quantifiable factors into a checklist for patients to evaluate several surgeons, their teams, and their routines before, during and after surgery.

“By creating this list, we’re giving patients a tool that will help them evaluate a potential surgeon and compare them to other New Jersey plastic surgeons. We’ve learned from our patients over the years what’s important to them. Accordingly, we have modified what we do in our practice to provide the best experience possible. This checklist allows patients considering cosmetic surgery to evaluate all surgical practices by criteria we’ve learned our patients consider important,” explained Dr. Parker.

The checklist includes the ability to evaluate the New Jersey plastic surgeon’s qualifications, experience, results, their staff, office, educational information, rapport achieved with doctor and staff, surgical facility credentials, post-operative care and other topics covered at the consultation. Some patients are nervous or embarrassed about discussing their problem with the doctor. For others, just being in an examination room can be an intimidating. It is easy for patients to become overwhelmed by the volume of information they’ve received. By having the Consultation Checklist, a patient can easily ask the consulting surgeon all of the necessary and relevant questions.

As patients research New Jersey plastic surgeons for their specific surgery, they should use this Consultation Checklist to objectively compare one surgeon with another. After evaluating each surgeon, patients should add up their point totals. They should then compare this to the fee quote they have been given. If the highest fee quote comes from the practice with the lowest point value, patients should look for a better value for their money. If a practice achieves a good point total for their surgical results, communication, and safety levels at a moderate price, patients are able to save money without compromising quality.

Dr. Parker recommends that patients complete all the consultations they have scheduled. Even if a patient thinks they’ve found their surgeon at the first visit, they may discover better options as they continue to research. Most patients feel better informed after seeing several surgeons. If seeing several surgeons raises conflicting advice, patients should make arrangements for a second consultation with their short list of potential surgeons. They may then ask the surgeon to help sort through the various recommendations they have heard and clarify their advice.

Patients are offered the checklist when they make an appointment for a consultation at the Parker Center. The form is also available as a .pdf download from the website http://www.parkercenter.net. Dr. Parker has filled in the some of the Consult Checklist boxes with regard to his own credentials, experience, and the certification of their on-site ambulatory surgery center. The other boxes on the Consult Checklist are blank allowing prospective patients to evaluate Dr. Parker, his staff and the entire consultation process at the Parker Center.

With over 20 years’ experience, Dr. Parker is a board-certified plastic surgeon New Jersey residents trust. Patient education has always been a top priority for Dr. Parker and his team at the Parker Center. The Consultation Checklist is another valuable tool that can assist plastic surgery patients in choosing the right surgeon for their procedure. Its development is consistent with the Parker Center’s belief that fully educating patients about cosmetic surgery allows them to make intelligent decisions that enhances their overall experience.

Be Healed By The God Who Cares Says A Super Intelligent God Loves and Can Heal Us, Offers Proof

“An Easy Read With Good Information”

San Luis Obispo, California (PRWEB) November 04, 2011

Reap the Harvest, a California foundation, has announced that in its newly published book Be Healed By The God Who Cares, author Sherif Michael maintains, “Jesus Christ, the Incarnation of the Living God, can heal us of disease.” Sherif Michael says, “In my college days at UCLA I used to believe God was an impersonal Force which one tapped into through meditation and yoga, just like an extension cord taps into the energy grid. I thought the Creator and the Creation were one and the same, that God was a passive force which permeates the universe, and that life is a machine which builds itself.

“But now I believe in a First Cause. How can there be a computer program without a programmer, a painting without a painter, or a house without a designer? The human body is much more complex than any computer program, painting or house. It has been estimated that if the DNA in an adult human were placed end to end, it would reach the sun and back four hundred times. The sun is 93 million miles from the earth! DNA is powerful chemically coded information. Information does not magically appear; it has a Source, namely God.

“The next question we should ask is who is God. Christ fulfilled over three hundred Old Testament prophecies made hundreds of years before his time. This gives us more than a clue that the Source of the information has, for some reason, zeroed in on Christ. When we examine the historically documented miracles Christ did, miracles which have never been duplicated (multiplying bread, stilling storms, walking on water, raising the dead, healing the sick), we see evidence that Christ’s claims that he is God Incarnate are not whimsical myth. Such miracles attest to the power of God.”

Michael maintains that a belief in God and Christ is logical and a source of great hope.

He summarizes his short book Be Healed By The God Who Cares as follows:

“If you face serious physical illness and your body is falling apart, you need to turn to the Source of Life and Healing. God can heal, heals daily, and may heal you this moment. God should not be limited nor minimized by our inability to conceive who He is. Quoting Jonathan Edwards, the Triune God upholds the universe instant by instant. Without God the universe would cease to exist, as a tent collapses without poles. God defines physical reality. Physical healing is for the present, but spiritual healing is the greater gift, as it is FOREVER.

“Be Healed By The God Who Cares covers both spiritual and physical healing. By believing in God’s Son, we gain eternal life. Faith is a gift from God, but Jesus Christ used his fulfillment of Old Testament prophecies and his miracles to evidence his claims that He and the Father are One, that before Abraham was ‘˜I AM,’ that ‘˜He who has seen me has seen the Father.’ He compared Himself as Jacob’s ladder, the stairway from Heaven to earth, on which angels tread (John 1:51). It is Christ who actualized the first “Stairway to Heaven,” long before Led Zeppelin! The God of eternity stepped into time and revealed Himself to us. He demonstrated his love by healing us.

“To develop faith, this booklet examines proofs: fulfilled prophecies, Christ’s resurrection, the moral argument for the existence of God, and present day physical healings in Fiji. For those who are sick and can’t handle extensive reading, Be Healed By The God Who Cares is a short and easy read. It can also be bought online for $ 3.95. It is a quick read for those who want evidence for the existence of God and need healing.”

REVIEWS:

” A very readable, cool and clear introduction on the most vital subject. In this fine piece of work Sherif investigates the meaning and the reason for believing the Christian faith” ““ Dr. Steve Kumar, Author of Christianity for The Skeptics, was president of the New Zealand Evangelical Apologetics Society.

“If you are seeking a book that will give ample amounts of inspiration and hope combined with a dash of apologetics, ‘Be Healed by the God Who Cares’ does just that, and more. Biblical wisdom is presented alongside classic philosophers and modern thinkers in a clear readable guide to finding spiritual solace and miraculous intervention.” – James Hirsen, J.D., New York Times Best Selling Author. Hirsen teaches law at both Trinity Law School and Biola University in Southern California. He is admitted to practice in the California and Washington, D.C. PostHeaderIcon Veterans and Franchising: New Report Looks at Franchisee Satisfaction, Performance

Veterans and Franchising: New Report Looks at Franchisee Satisfaction, Performance

Portsmouth, NH (PRWEB) November 03, 2011

A new report released today by Franchise Business Review includes the first-known research on military-trained franchise operators and their overall satisfaction as franchisees compared to non-veterans.

The findings, published in Veterans and Franchising 2011, show that franchisees with military experience enjoy operating their businesses and being a part of their franchise organizations, but rate their own performance as franchisees slightly lower than their non-vet counterparts.

To compile the research for this report, Franchise Business Review surveyed nearly 2,000 military-trained franchisees, representing 178 brands and more than 60,000 franchise units.

Veterans and Franchising 2011 includes a listing of Franchise Business Review’s Top 100 Franchises for Veterans, the first list of its kind to include data on actual veteran franchisee satisfaction and performance. The brands with the highest franchisee satisfaction among veterans includes Heaven’s Best Carpet Cleaning, Home Instead Senior Care, American Poolplayers Association, Jan-Pro, CertaPro Painters, Proforma, Christian Brothers Automotive, Computer Troubleshooters, Brightstar, and Color Glo International.

The top companies represent an array of franchise concepts and investment ranges, revealing that military-trained franchisees aren’t necessarily drawn to sectors or services that match their military specialties. In fact, according to the report, the sector with the highest percentage of veterans is the finance and tax industry with 19.7% of franchisees having previous military experience. The average initial investment for the franchises appearing on the Top 100 list is in the area of $ 150,000.

“Based on our findings, veterans looking for franchise opportunities aren’t necessarily looking for businesses that fit their military training. Like non-vets, veterans are looking for good opportunities regardless of industry, and many have the funds to afford a relatively large investment,” said Franchise Business Review president and CEO Eric Stites.

Veterans and Franchising 2011 looks at the overall landscape of veterans in franchising and why military service is such a natural fit for franchising—an idea that is widely promoted by the International Franchise Association (IFA), the franchise industry’s leading membership organization.

“Veterans grow up understanding two things—systems and discipline,” said Mary Thompson, president of the Mr. Rooter franchise system (part of the Dwyer Group) and chairman of the IFA’s VetFran Committee.

According to Thompson and backed by Franchise Business Review’s research, the type of discipline and teamwork taught in the military goes hand-in-hand with the skills required to be a successful business owner. Because of this—and because they want to support our veterans—many franchise brands now offer significant cost-savings and other support and incentives to veterans interested in franchise ownership. But promoting franchise opportunities to retired servicemen and women is much more than a nice thing to do; top franchise brands have discovered it makes real business sense.

“I want to help veterans, but it’s not just that,” Thompson said. “There’s a very selfish side to this. Vets make great franchisees.”

FleetMind Announces New Monthly “Service” Option for Customers

Montreal, Canada (PRWEB) November 03, 2011

FleetMind Solutions, Inc., the technology leader for fleet management solutions, today announced the availability of its new monthly service option for implementing fleet management solutions. As a recurring monthly service, waste and recycling organizations no longer have to commit large upfront cash expenditures for hardware and software purchase or licenses. This makes it easier and faster for customers to achieve the resulting return-on-investment (ROI) benefits.

“Our customers frequently had to choose between using their capital expenditure (Capex) budgets to buy new trucks or invest in technologies to significantly improve their operations,” said Martin Demers, CEO of FleetMind. “Justifying the budget to measurably improve your business should not come down to a question of more equipment versus an investment in essential technologies. Both are critical to a healthy waste management organization. In response to customer demand, we created a new service model that will deliver our fleet management solution in a more budget-friendly way.”

Converting to a service-oriented approach will lower the upfront costs for waste companies and subsequently free up their Capex budgets for any required equipment purchases.

Key benefits of a monthly service model include:

1.    ”All in” agreement – No additional costs for maintenance, warranty or software upgrades.

2.    Monthly payment is an operating expenditure (Opex) line item – This typically has favorable tax advantages, and frees up Capex for trucks and other equipment.

3.    Faster ROI path – Given that the monthly Opex is minimal as compared to the Capex, ROI is drastically collapsed for improved bottom-line benefits.

4.    Lower costs – Reduces overall Capex.

5.    Reduced risks – No hidden costs and no budgetary concerns over ongoing support, maintenance and upgrades.

6.    Simplicity – Monthly service model makes it easier to manage financially, plan budgets and demonstrate an ROI.

FleetMind will be showcasing the newest versions of its award-winning Waste and Recycling Fleet Management Solutions in Booth #1621 at the Canadian Waste & Recycling Expo 2011 in Montreal, QC.

Truly Paperless Society Moves Closer to Reality with Shipment of First Boogie Board Rip™ LCD Writing Tablets

The Boogie Board Rip LCD Writing Tablet is the first Boogie Board eWriter with save capabilities.

Kent, Ohio (PRWEB) November 02, 2011

The highly anticipated Boogie Board Rip LCD Writing Tablet, the first Boogie Board tablet model with save capabilities, is now shipping to addresses in North America, Europe and other select global locations for purchases made through Brookstone.com (U.S. only), Amazon.com, and improvelectronics.com. Preorders placed on improvelectronics.com will also begin shipping today.

“This is a monumental day – not only for Improv Electronics but for environmentally-conscious consumers around the world,” said Dr. Albert Green, Kent Displays/Improv Electronics CEO. “Paper has been used as writing and drawing medium for roughly a thousand years. With the launch of the Boogie Board Rip tablet, we now offer a comprehensive family of Boogie Board eWriters that are viable electronic, paperless alternatives to note books, composition books, legal pads, sketch books, memo pads, sticky notes, scratch paper and other writing and drawing mediums. As more and more consumers use Boogie Board eWriters instead of their paper-based counterparts, we will move much closer to a truly paperless society.”

The Boogie Board Rip tablet will be launched with optional Virtual Desktop Companion software, downloadable from improvelectonics.com. The Microsoft Windows compatible tool expands the functionality of the Boogie Board Rip tablet when it is connected to a PC. Users can view notes and drawings on a computer monitor in real time, save files directly to their computer, and share files via e-mail.

“The high volume of Boogie Board Rip tablet preorders indicates consumers are eager to embrace an electronic, paperless writing and drawing medium,” continued Dr. Green. “The benefits compared to paper are obvious: they are less costly (than an equivalent amount of paper), offer expanded functionality, and have far less impact on the environment. I am confident eWriters will become the preferred writing and drawing medium of the 21st century — it’s just a matter of how quickly.”

MSRP for the Boogie Board Rip tablet is $ 129.99 USD (114.99 Euros, 99.99 British pounds, and 14,800 Yen). Consumers can click the Buy Now button on improvelectronics.com to view local retailers. Announcements about Boogie Board Rip tablet availability in additional countries and retails outlets are forthcoming.

What Is An Invention? Ideaing Authors Say It Pays To Know With First To File Patent Law Looming

The Complete Guide to Inexpensive Ideaing

Grand Rapids, Michigan (PRWEB) November 02, 2011

Webster’s Dictionary defines “invention” as “a device, contrivance, or process originated after study and experiment”. An invention can be an entirely new concept, or an improvement of an existing concept. A “process” may include industrial or technical processes. A process is also the way an invention performs. Examples are a manufacturing process (for making devices or a drug) and computer software (which performs in a unique way). Also included are “compositions of matter” which can be mixtures of ingredients or new chemical compounds. “Combination patents are granted for an invention that unites existing components in a new way”, stated McKitrick. “There is still a wide playing field open for combination patents”.

If you think you have an invention, protect it with a patent application. Most people (or somebody they know) have had an idea, done nothing with it, and then seen it successfully brought to market by someone else. Worse yet is when somebody has an idea, actually pursues patent protection, and finds that somebody has beaten them to the punch. For example; Alexander Graham Bell’s telephone patent application was submitted one day before that of Elisha Gray. Who is Elisha Gray? Exactly the point.

“With the impending first to file patent law favoring big business, and the world’s playing field shrinking, I cannot imagine why anyone would not be rushing to file patents on existing ideas, or thinking of new ideas and filing”, stated Mark McKitrick, author of the new workbook titled “The Complete Guide to Inexpensive Ideaing”. “Patents filed now will fall under the existing first to invent rules, which are advantageous to everyday inventors. We make provisional patent filing easy, extremely affordable, and understandable with our new book.”

How affordable? The user may write an unlimited number of provisional patent applications using the workbook’s proprietary easy-to-use patent template. The only additional expense is the $ 110 U.S. Patent & Trademark Office filing fee for each patent application. This is compared to a $ 1,000 or more cost for each provisional patent if written by a patent attorney. Furthermore, if you write the provisional patent yourself, you usually get a better product in the end. Adds Dr. Sena, “Nobody cares about your new idea more than you do. You are thinking about it night and day. When writing your own provisional patent, you think of details and variations that only you would think of.”

Mr. McKitrick and Dr. Sena have written “The Complete Guide to Inexpensive Ideaing”. This book offers a complete inventor’s guide from the “aha” moment of product conception through the entire process of development of the new idea, and is meant for people from all walks of life with any type of idea. Included are invaluable proprietary templates for writing provisional patents, business plans, and product brochures. The easy-to-follow “Ideaing” guidebook will also, among many other benefits, help the inventor determine if their idea is worth pursuing before they pour money into it.

The authors, who have enjoyed many successes (and learned many expensive and character-building lessons) along their respective paths, will save readers hundreds of hours and thousands of dollars with their experience and suggestions. The reader will learn about patent and market research, writing their patent, developing their product, writing a business plan, finding angel and venture capital, and much more. Just as importantly, they will learn when to consult specialists (patent attorneys, prototype experts, etc.). This book will show inventors what and what not to do themselves, and how to make their time spent with specialists more productive (and therefore less expensive).

“Our goal, utilizing our years of experience in the idea development process, is to empower people in all walks of life with the necessary tools that can make them successful,” states Mr. McKitrick, “and our templates save a tremendous amount of time and money. Best of all, people will look and feel like an experienced inventor, regardless of their walk in life”.

“The Complete Guide to Inexpensive Ideaing” is available at all fine bookstores. Templates are available electronically at http://www.ideaing.us. Media may request a review copy by contacting the publisher at: media(at)authorsolutions(dot)com or telephone at 888.280.7715.
