Cheap PC that will run CSS and Portal?
I have a Mac and the only remorse I have is I can’t play CSS and Portal is there a cheap PC that will run them well? And I don’t want people answers to bash on Macs. I have one for graphics design.
You can pretty much run CS:S and Portal with any modern graphics card.
My secondary PC (with AMD Sempron 3400+ @ 2.4GHz and Geforce 6500 @ 434/854) can max out CS:S, but can run Portal on about medium settings. So it should be a piece of cake to run it on a system that has a video card that has about 2x or 3x the performance (like a 7600/8600+).

Remember that it’s not only the processor that determines how smoothly WoW runs. Also take into consideration which video card you will need.
Personally, I have a Q6600 Quad Core processor and an NVidia 8800GT and I never get any lag (outside of Stormwind that is).

Well, I would hope that it would cost cheap. There is no "cheap" when building a PC of any real use.

Recommended requirements:

Cheap depends on your location, the recommended requirements are probably old models in the US and Europe.
My recommedation is to get a decent model that can handle this year’s games. You won’t be playing TES forever. Get at least a Core 2 or an AMD X2 proc. 2GB RAM for CP or 4GB RAM for Vista and a video card that supports DirectX 10 and shaders 4.0

eBay, Amazon…. they are all safe and try downloading them through LimeWire or UTorrent then copying them to disk

How can I purchase a cheap laptop PC for playing music files?
I want to use the lap top to run PCDJ (mp3s) and get some DJ gigs. I would like to buy a lap top PC as cheaply as possible, but I need one that will get the job done. Where can I shop and roughly how much will it cost?
I don’t know what the reqs. are for PCDJ but for a laptop just to play mp3′s you can get a pretty low end one maybe for a couple hundred bucks… If you’re in so. cal there’s a good electronics store called Fry’s. My friend used to work at Staples & he said there are good deals there for computers (it’s where I purchased my laptop) but you should watch for sales at Best Buy also & other places.
