In what year will desktops become obsolete?
I see everyone has a laptop now and u can pretty much get the same performance if u have enough money to spend. I think that in 2 years, companies will stop making desktops, just like the CRT Monitors.
Desk tops will be around for awhile. Think of all the Graphic Designers and Auto Cad users. While programs like auto cad 2009 can run on some lap tops, a desk top is a cheaper way to take full advantage of the program.

How do I go about finding out how much memory I have on my Compaq desktop? You know, where do I locate that information on my PC? I want to get another memory module, but first I need to know what I already have on my PC.
Right-click "My Computer", select General tab, and physical memory is displayed at the bottom of the information.
